An audience of over 100 people attended our ' Lets Dance' concert in the Kirk Theatre on Sat 12th September, enjoying an evening of dance music from around the world,  & vocal solos by Rachel Anderson and John Wardell. The band began the programme with ' Lets face the music and dance', followed by Ashoken Farewell which featured Alex on Euph and Beth on Flugel. In the second half there were a trio of sleazy tunes including a Rag, the 'Can Can' and the piece everyone put their heart & soul into, The Stripper. The evenings finale was music from the ever popular Lord of the Dance. Each piece was introduced by Mike, with some background information on when and where the dance had originated, and in one case instructions on how to do it. The music chosen by the singers was also dance based, and we were also treated to a tap dance by Rachel. They were accompanied on piano by Clive Wass.

Well done to all concerned for an enjoyable & fun evening.
